Its name is Toms, and it was created by Blake Mycoskie, an American who saw in espadrilles a business and service opportunity, when he was on vacation in Argentina.
Under the One for One philosophy, today it is a successful firm that sends shoes all over the world (and, of course, donates shoes in equal proportion), that is, a customer buys a pair of Toms and they donate that same amount.
