Why Education?

The increase of the economic crisis, the environmental and social vulnerability that affects Honduran families, has led to an increase in school dropouts, in 2023 one million children between 4 to 17 years are out of the education system. For World Vision Honduras, education is a top priority in our commitment, with a primary focus on strengthening both access and quality of education for children in vulnerable situations, carrying out advocacy actions so that the State can prioritize education in its agenda and budget, in order to achieve greater investment in teaching resources, teaching staff, teaching tools, infrastructure and technology.

Globally proven strategies and methodologies are promoted by World Visión Honduras, with the objective of improving reading, writing, critical thinking, use of technology, values and social-emotional skills in children.
