The owner of the website www.worldvision.hn (hereinafter, "website") is the National Office of World Vision Honduras (hereinafter referred to as "AVMH"), located in Col Montecarlo, Boulevard Morazán, 1ra. Calle, 3ra. Avenida, Tegucigalpa, Honduras; with contact email comunicaciones@worldvision.hn;  and telephone numbers PBX:(504) 2216-6600 / 2216-6601. 

At the international level, World Vision subscribes to the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability principles and guidelines for work in emergencies, the Sphere Project standards and the International Code of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.

We also have consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and are a major food distribution partner of the World Food Program (WFP) and have a Safe Organization Policy for the Protection of Children and Adults participating in our programs in line with the Safe Organization Policy of the International Fellowship of World Vision International.

 

1. Use of the website

The access and use of the website attributes to you the condition of user and supposes the acceptance of the legal clauses reflected in the present Terms and Conditions.

In any case, the user assumes the responsibility of the use of the website and commits to use in a reasonable and adequate way the applications and contents that AVMH offers through the website.

The minors of 18 years old that access to the website will do it accompanied by their father, mother, tutor or by an adult person in order to guarantee a suitable and correct use of the same one.

AVMH is not responsible for damages of any kind that may be caused to users by the use of other browsers or different versions of the browsers for which the website has been designed.

Access to this website is the sole responsibility of the users and accessing it directly or through advertising does not imply any type of commercial relationship between AVMH and the user.

 AVMH will not assume any responsibility for the inadequate use that the users can make of the website, being the users the only ones responsible for the damages that can be produced by their actions.

2. Purpose and Contents of the website

The website is a space dedicated to provide information about the work carried out by WVGt and to promote its operational programs or fundraising actions, as well as to provide information about other promotional activities. Promotional activities are understood to be all those advertising tasks in any media or support that may or may not lead directly to this website.

The information, contents and data of any kind on the pages of this website, or its fundraising actions, are reviewed before publication; however, it is not possible to guarantee that they are absolutely free of typos, typographical errors, defects in composition and equivalent problems, so AVMH recommends users to be attentive to possible updates or corrections that the website incorporates.

3. Image Rights

In the event that the contents published by users contain images or any other personal data relating to minors, the user will be responsible for them and must prove to have the consent of the parent or legal guardian of the minor to publish them.

 AVMH is the owner or licensee of all photographic images or videos that are published on the website and has the permission of the parents or legal guardians of minors for the publication of the images of such minors.

All images published on the website are governed by the criteria of AVMH's Safeguarding and Secure Organization Policy and, therefore, do not violate or endanger the rights of children. In compliance with this policy, no user is allowed to download or use the images.

All information contained in the website as well as its design, text, graphics, images, video, information, applications, software, music, sound and other files, as well as their selection and arrangement are the exclusive property of World Vision Guatemala Foundation, or its licensors, with all rights reserved. No part of the content may be modified, copied, distributed, framed, reproduced, downloaded, extracted, displayed, published, transmitted or sold in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of World Vision Guatemala Foundation.

The links established in the present website, referred to publicity or to another type of contents, and whose ownership or responsibility corresponds to third parties different from the website and AVMH, are not responsibility of AVMH, who in no case is obliged to control nor to approve the services, contents, data, files, products and any class of existing material in the page or web pages of third parties. Therefore, AVMH will not respond, under any circumstance, of the legality of the contents of such page/s, being exclusive responsibility of the third party all that concerns to the content of that link, especially the respect to the law, the moral, the good customs and the public order. The existence of links does not presuppose any kind of relationship between AVMH and the owner of the linked website.
