Our Main Goal

A multi-sectoral response program aimed at strengthening the resilience of families and communities, targeting people who have been affected by hurricanes Eta and Iota, mitigating the effects of El Niño-related droughts and other potential shocks and stressors in the future.

This project implements sectoral response actions oriented and linked to the Sustainable Development Goals and the Humanitarian Response Plan for Honduras (PRH) 2021-2022. It aims to reach 47,900 people in food security issues at the household level, providing support with cash transfer strategies and intervention to farmers to promote productivity and storage.

We work in the departments of Cortés, Copán, Yoro, Olancho, Choluteca and Santa Bárbara. The project is funded by the Humanitarian Aid Office BHA -USAID in alliance with key partners are Doctors in Frontiers, Plan International, CESAL, CEPUDO, Warrior Zulu Nation, UNAH and Misiones del Agua.
